Paul Seeba in a Midwest Emmy Award winning PBS North (WDSE) documentary! MN Preservation award goes to Mitchell Yards too!
The PBS documentary was the recipient for a Midwest Emmy for excellence in History/Culture/Nostalgia programs.
“Last Call for the Mitchell Yards” also received a Honor Award from the Preservation Alliance of Minnesota (PAM), as one of the best preservation achievements in the state.
PBS producer, Karen Sunderman, said the award from PAM was a wonderful surprise. She credits Seeba for making it happen.
“In addition to being an extraordinary Iron Range musician, he also has a passion for history and teaching. He got the inspiration of his 2014 release, Mitchell Yards, after hearing about the old roundhouse and its role in the greater story of World War II,” she said.
